Ian left UCL with degrees in Physics with Space Science and an M.Sc. in Spacecraft Technology & Satellite Communications back in 1997. He began working in financial markets in 1999.
He worked as a dealer for a number of years, and after joining Killik & Co in 2007, he managed the Richmond team from 2016 until he became a partner in 2017. He is now responsible for Adviser Growth Productivity. Having passed the Securities Institute Diploma in 2003, he is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute. He sits on the Consumer Duty forum and is a member of the Vulnerable Clients steering group
Having rowed the tidal Thames, he is a keen gardener, a member of the National Trust and an accomplished carp angler and guitarist.
