Clem MacTaggart

Clem has been an integral part of Killik & Co since 2006, when he joined as Chief Operating Officer. For nearly two decades, Clem has played a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, most recently as a Managing Partner.

Although Clem stepped back from the Managing Partner role in 2025, he continues to contribute actively as a member of the Partnership. Under Clem’s leadership, Killik & Co has seen sustained growth in clients, assets under management, and team strength.

Beyond business performance, Clem has been deeply committed to developing talent across the firm and mentoring many colleagues into senior leadership roles while serving as a member of the Executive Board. With nearly four decades of industry experience, including beginning at Hill Osborne & Co in 1986 and then as CEO of Self Trade prior to joining Killik & Co, Clem brings seasoned judgment and resilience to the firm.

My role at Killik & Co focuses on building our strategic ambitions, acting as a strategic adviser to the Executive Board and championing our client experience.
